![]() ![]() We want our Church to be a welcoming place where we gather to grow, renew and refresh but also be an outpost from which to serve and reach others. We remain committed to being a church that serves as a Lighthouse to our community and the world. We want to hear from you! What are the outreaches and ministries we should rally around and partner with in the years to come? Help us to define and understand our identity so we can look for a space that can support that vision. Please fill out this short survey that we will use to help understand our future needs at Restoration, from your eyes. ALSO: If you had requested to have your results e-mailed to you, your results may not have been recorded – we were having intermittent issues with this feature. If you are able to resubmit your answers we would greatly appreciate hearing your feedback. TAKE THE SURVEY before March 7, 2022 Small Groups Launch! This is a time in which we ask God to show us our hearts through the contemplative practices of repentance, prayer and confession. We receive ashes on our foreheads as a symbol of repentant hearts and a promise to pursue Jesus in the days leading to the sacrifice of Good Friday and, then, the celebration of the resurrection on Easter Sunday. Join us for an Ash Wednesday service on March 2nd at 7pm at Vendella Coffee Haus in Eagan, MN. Online tithing is a way to remain faithful in your giving regardless of worshipping with us in-person or online. Decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully. And God will generously provide all you need. We encourage you to consider giving online so that your giving is regular and easy to manage – it’s easy to sign up HERE. You can also Text to Give by texting any dollar amount to 84321. Pray or Receive Prayer Now more than ever, people are turning toward prayer or are in desperate need of prayer. We have an amazingly gifted prayer team you can depend on for prayer. They’re always looking for other prayer warriors if you want to join or if you need prayer for any situation, you can contact them. We believe in the power of prayer and know that God is listening. We would love to pray for you. If you’re interested in joining the prayer team or have any prayer requests, send them to our prayer team at prayer@restorationcov.org ![]() Here’s what we are learning this month in Restoration Kids! PRESCHOOL ![]() Did you know there are over 100 million love songs? Why so much interest in love? Well, it could be because God is love. And, God made every person in His image. We were literally made by love, to love and to be loved! That is why Jesus loves everyone, and why He taught us how we can love everyone, too. Jesus gave us so many examples of loving everyone while He was on earth, and we get to share them with our preschoolers this month. Jesus loves everyone, and we can love everyone like Jesus—that is what we want preschoolers to know. And, there’s no better time in our world for children to hear this powerful truth. So, grab a party hat and a handful of confetti and let’s get the party started! “Do everything in love.” 1 Corinthians 16:14, NIV ELEMENTARY ![]() This month, elementary kids will be learning about compassion or caring enough to do something about someone else’s needs. God’s compassion for us led to the greatest act of love the world had ever seen. God sent Jesus to rescue us. We reflect God’s compassion when we care about others and work to make things right. “The Lord has shown you what is good. He has told you what he requires of you. You must act with justice. You must love to show mercy. And you must be humble as you live in the sight of your God.” Micah 6:8, NIrV ![]() Save these upcoming events for ALL students: Saturday, February 26 | Student Family Bowling Night at Whirlyball in Bloomington, MN Middle School Bible Study NEXT FRIDAY 6:30-7:30pm Thursday, March 10 | FMSC Packing Event 7-8:30pm at Eagan Location Middle School Bible Study The Middle School Bible Study continues Friday, March 4 from 6:30-7:30pm at Restoration and will meet every first and third Friday (March 18, April 1).
