A Message Shared from Joe Mueller

An UNBELIEVABLE thing happened yesterday that I can safely say is the BIGGEST thing I’ve been a part of in my entire career in real estate – our Church closed on their very own building! I could write a novel about the journey to get here, but the elevator version is:

  • 7 years in the making (almost 3 of intense searching, meeting and planning),
  • being bounced around due to our leased spot closing during covid,
  • adapting to online/hybrid services just to get the boot by another church we rented from to being put up temporarily for Sunday evening services by a GRACIOUS host church…

Yet throughout it all an amazing group of people on our facilities team stayed vigilant and our congregation and leadership stayed flexible, and most importantly FAITHFUL. We knew we would find a home, in His time. He had us search ourselves and dig deep to find out who we are and who we wanted to be as a church. Only after that time and really, when we realized the fact that a building isn’t everything to our ministry, but rather just a tool (yes an important and exciting one) to plant roots and reach out to the community, that he let everything fall into place. From the acquisition to the fundraising for capital to the closing today, it couldn’t have been more evident that He cleared a path for us. It has been an amazing journey… and it’s just the prologue. The real journey starts now and the remodeling starts Saturday!

Congrats to Pastor Rob for having the boldness to plant this difference making church over 10 years ago and thank you for being such a leader in my life and so many others. Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen. I can’t wait to formally invite you to a service sometime soon.

We have a few spaces remaining to serve THIS SATURDAY. Please click below to join us! In next weeks edition of News + Notes we will share a new link for the work day scheduled on October 15 from 9am-5pm.

    Work Days This Fall!

Back at our vision meeting in June, I compared this building journey to a baseball game. We hit the ball and made it to first base when wrote our letter of intent and had it accepted. We made it to second base when our purchase agreement was finalized and signed. We rounded third base when all of the due diligence was competed and satisfied. And on October 4, we slide into home and close on the property. It’s wild to think that this whole journey started with a text message Thursday night, June 9.

Wednesday, October 5 marks a new adventure of building renovation and we are eager to partner with you. Teams have been working in the background preparing for this momentous season and we need your skills, strengths and time.

Our first open work day will be Saturday, October 8 from 9am-5pm.
We do need to limit indoor work to 12 people over the age of 13 for each shift. We also have outdoor projects for families with younger children. You can sign up for both morning and afternoon shifts if you would like to serve all day. Also, if you have personal tools you are willing to use, please bring those. Items needed can be found on the sign up page.

Each week we will share an update and a sign-up link with a general description of upcoming projects and available spaces. We look forward to what God is going to do in us physically, relationally and spiritually.

    With hope,
    Rob

    Online Giving

There’s no time like the present to set up online giving. Online tithing is a way to remain faithful in your giving regardless of worshipping with us in-person or online. Decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully. And God will generously provide all you need. We encourage you to consider giving online so that your giving is regular and easy to manage – it’s easy to sign up HERE. You can also Text to Give by texting any dollar amount to 84321.

    Pray or Receive Prayer

We’ve made it easy for you to share your prayer requests.

    • Send PRAY FOR ME in a text message to: (833) 482-6846.
    • Respond to the message and let us know how we can be praying for you.
    • We will respond to let you know when you’ve been prayed for.

This Fall we are learning to Be The Church

You’ve got a lot more sisters, brothers, and neighbors when you follow Jesus because you’re a part of God’s big Church!

The Church isn’t a building. The Church is people who follow Jesus—the Bible calls us the body of Christ. As part of God’s Church, God calls everyone our neighbors, tells us to love them as we love ourselves and to show them how to follow Jesus. We’ve got to love God with everything in us and love others the way we love ourselves to show everyone what God’s Church is all about!

      Restoration Students!

Middle School Families! On Friday, October 14 we will be tie-dying our shirts with the help of the amazingly talented Amanda Goerdt! If Paula does not have your students white shirt, please bring it THIS SUNDAY so they can be processed before we tie-dye them. If you have any questions, please connect with Paula.
