NEW! Westview Backpacks + Shoes
VBS is a special week for our kids and friends to take their faith to the next level, make new friends and work together to raise money for a good cause in our community. For several years, Restoration has used the money raised by our VBS kids to buy shoes and backpacks for our community partner, Westview Elementary.
Here’s how you can help:
+ KIDS: Every morning during VBS you can give cash and coins when you check in at VBS. At the end of each day, we will share the new total for the boys and girls. The group that wins at the end of the week will vote on who gets a pie in the face!!!
+ ADULTS: This Sunday, you can give cash or coins to your favorite young friend who’s going to VBS to donate on your behalf. If you need help meeting a young friend, Paula would love to assist you! You can also bring new backpacks to church with you on Sundays through August 27. The staff at Westview have provided a detailed list of shoe sizes so we will use the funds to purchase the shoes and additional backpacks.

Outdoor Worship + Baptism Service
August 27 at 10am | Crystal Lake Park, Burnsville, MN
We’ll worship together, celebrate believer baptisms at the lake and then spend time in community over a picnic lunch. This is a great opportunity to invite someone to church in a beautiful setting outside in God’s creation. Grilled meat, beverages, chips, condiments, and dinnerware will be provided.
Last names A-L, please bring a SIDE or SALAD to share; M-Z please bring a DESSERT to share. We recommend bringing lawn chairs for your comfort. Bring some games to play too! Note there will not be Restoration Kids that Sunday so kids can enjoy worship with their families.
ALSO: Baptism is a very important spiritual milestone for a person who has come to know and love Jesus Christ. If you have felt God’s call to take this step our outdoor worship and baptism service is a great time to do that. This gives us the opportunity to celebrate with you as a church family and rejoice in this important next step.
