Hey Restoration! October is here, and that means Pastor Appreciation Month is here! Let’s show love and appreciation to Pastor Rob and Michele by filling their mailbox with messages that speak to their soul, letting them know how much their guidance, leadership, and love means to us.

Mail your cards and optional gift cards to the church or drop them off any Sunday in October.

Pray for Restoration Facilities Master Planning Team

Restoration family and friends, at our Annual Vision Meeting in June, we included in our approved budget money to embark on a facilities master planning process. This process will help us determine ministry expansion possibilities at our current location aligned with our vision, mission and long-term dreams. A small group of staff and leaders will meet with Vanman Architects and Builders next week to begin this master planning process. The Restoration team will focus on church vision and culture, current ministries, space constraints and future vision. The Vanman team will focus on assessment, concepts and design, renovation and/or expansion, and finally, potential project phases and costs.

We aim to complete this planning process in the next several months and bring to you all a design and 3D concept sketch by the Vision Update Meeting at the end of January.

Please join us in praying for wisdom, creativity and collaboration for the team.

Men’s Study Group | Romans

Let’s dive into the Bible together and discover God’s purpose and design for our lives. We know everyone’s lives are busy, but getting time in the Word is so important for us. This group is designed for the busiest of folks who need flexibility, meeting once a month and working through a section of scripture at a time, giving you plenty of time to dwell on what you are learning and how it applies to you.

When: this group meets every third Tuesday of the Month (some dates may change due to the group’s needs, events, etc.)

Time: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Study: Romans: Encountering the Gospel’s Power by Dr. John Stott

Where: Bricksworth Brewing, Burnsville

How: Study through the assigned scripture within the month, come to the group, buy yourself a beer, homemade root beer and some pub food, relax and be edified.

Registration & Payment Deadline is October 20.

Registration is now open for our All-Church Retreat at Camp Courage in Maple Lake on November 8th and 9th. The retreat theme will be “Joining the Generations” and will begin with supper on Friday night and will conclude around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

There will be scheduled times of spiritual connection, as well as free time to take a walk, talk with friends, play games, or read a book.
The cost per person is $90 with a family max of $270, which will include lodging and three meals. Children 3 and younger are free.

Make payments with cash or check in the offering box, designating it as retreat payment including your name. Payments can also be made through Venmo to Restoration-Church-9 with the phone number 952-236-9174.

Each cabin has a common living room and kitchen, and sleeps 30 people within 5 separate bedrooms, each containing 6 beds and a private bathroom. This will allow families or groups of friends to stay together in a private room. Don’t miss this chance to join the generations of our church family to grow in connection and faith.

Online Giving

There’s no time like the present to set up online giving. Online tithing is a way to remain faithful in your giving regardless of worshipping with us in-person or online. Decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully. And God will generously provide all you need. We encourage you to consider giving online so that your giving is regular and easy to manage – it’s easy to sign up HERE. You can also Text to Give by texting any dollar amount to 84321.
