Vision Update + Congregational Meeting
Mark your calendars for Sunday, January 26, as we gather for our semi-annual Vision Update + Congregational Meeting.
What’s Happening?
During both Sunday services, as part of our Vision Update Meeting, we’ll share ministry highlights, celebrate what God is doing and cast vision for where we’re headed in the coming season.
After the first service (at 10:15am), we will hold a brief congregational meeting to vote on one new member for the Nominating Team. If you attend the first service and your kids go to kids’ classes, please pick them up after service before the meeting starts. If you attend the second service and want to attend the congregational meeting, please plan on arriving a little before 10:15am.
We encourage all members to attend as we reflect on God’s faithfulness and look ahead to 2025 and beyond.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to LT@restorationcov.org.
Meet the Candidate
Garrett Zaffke resides in Lakeville, Minnesota with his wife Amy and three kids (Zoey, Lincoln, and Cameron). He has been a part of the Restoration Church family since 2016 when God directed him in having a hankering for Thai food and in turn seeing a church poster. Garrett has served in many parts of the church at some point; children’s ministry, welcome table, guest teaching, prayer ministry and tech team. Outside of the church, Garrett enjoys traveling, food and drink culture, and learning about obscure history and unique facts (to the disdain of his family, because yes, we are going to stop and read that plaque).
Men’s Study GroupThe January meeting has been CANCELED. Join us for the next meeting on Tuesday, February 18 from 6-8pm at Bricksworth Brewing in Burnsville. Last Opportunity to Register for Alpha!
Restoration will be offering Alpha again in 2025 on Monday nights, starting January 13th. Alpha is a 10-week course that explores topics like “Why Did Jesus Die?”, “How Do I Resist Evil?”, What Does the Holy Spirit Do?”, and “Does God Heal Today?”
It is a great place for someone to learn the basic building blocks of faith or for believers to strengthen and expand their understanding of who God is.
A night of Alpha will start with a free meal at 6 p.m., a short time of worship, a talk on the topic of the night, and a time of discussion in small groups, concluding at 8 p.m. This is not only a great course to attend yourself, but it is also a wonderful place to invite friends, neighbors, colleagues, and family members to travel further on their journey of faith. Registration is open now.
Child care will not be provided. Contact Lindsay Jacobson with questions.
