Vision Update Meeting is SUNDAY!

Join us January 30 at 5:15 PM for our Vision Update meeting. This update will be intertwined within the worship service. You will hear the ways God is moving in and through us, where he is leading, along with finance and facilities updates. After the service, you are invited to stay for some food, and if you are a member, you will have the opportunity to vote for two nominating committee members.

We will also be voting on two members for the nominating committee. You can read more on their bios HERE.

Small Groups Launch!

Restoration Small Groups are launching a new season!

Participating in a small group is one of the best ways to grow in your relationship with Jesus and with Jesus’ people. From Feb. 6 - April 3, most of our small groups will be doing a study based on the upcoming sermon series “Emotionally Healthy Spirituality.” We will be using a devotional book which will be available at Restoration for $10 before or after our worship service.

Online Giving

There’s no time like the present to set up online giving. Online tithing is a way to remain faithful in your giving regardless of worshipping with us in-person or online. Decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully. And God will generously provide all you need. We encourage you to consider giving online so that your giving is regular and easy to manage – it’s easy to sign up HERE. You can also Text to Give by texting any dollar amount to 84321.

Pray or Receive Prayer

Now more than ever, people are turning toward prayer or are in desperate need of prayer. We have an amazingly gifted prayer team you can depend on for prayer. They’re always looking for other prayer warriors if you want to join or if you need prayer for any situation, you can contact them. We believe in the power of prayer and know that God is listening. We would love to pray for you. If you’re interested in joining the prayer team or have any prayer requests, send them to our prayer team at prayer@restorationcov.org

Here’s what we are learning this month in Restoration Kids!

PRESCHOOL

A great storyteller can pull you in and make you forget everything else that is going on around you. They make you feel empathy and conviction for things that really matter. Life lessons are revealed with each word, and you walk away wanting to change and just be a better human. Jesus is that kind of storyteller. Jesus is indeed the master storyteller and there is nothing better than Story Time with Him. When Jesus starts talking, it’s time to listen. Because, Jesus teaches me important things.

“The crowds were amazed at his teaching.” Matthew 7:28, NIV

ELEMENTARY

We trust God no matter what. Even when we face unexpected circumstances, we can respond to them with self-control. We can trust that we don’t need to rush in or take matters into our own hands. We can trust that God is working. Self-control is a Fruit of the Spirit. As we follow Jesus throughout our lives, the Holy Spirit transforms us and helps us live more like Jesus. We can follow His example and choose to do what we should do—instead of what we want to do. The Holy Spirit can give us the power and wisdom to show self-control.

Memory Verse: “God’s power has given us everything we need to lead a Godly life.” 2 Peter 1:3A, NIrV
