Two Services Survey Update

Zephaniah 3:17

For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.

What a beautiful picture … God singing songs of joy over Restoration. How simple is it for us to acknowledge his love by glorifying his name in all we do. That is what Restoration seeks to do by being a community of people restored by Jesus to bring hope to the world. By transitioning to two services, we create the time and space for the Lord to add to our fellowship. Thank you for your partnership in that mission. Thank you, also, to everyone who took time last week to complete the survey regarding the two services transition. The response was very positive!

  • 42 of 63 households responded to the survey

  • 100% of those who responded had heard about the transition

  • Only 5 respondents had not seen the frequently asked questions (FAQ)

  • All respondents felt the proposed service times of 9:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. would meet their needs

  • 25 households indicated they would attend the 9:00 service with 17 households attending at 10:45

The Leadership Team will be analyzing this data further at their next meeting and communicating updates in News + Notes and during Sunday services.

Pastor Appreciation Month!

Hey Restoration Family! October is here, and that means Pastor Appreciation Month is here! Let’s show love and appreciation to Pastor Rob and Michele by filling their mailbox with messages that speak to their soul, letting them know how much their guidance, leadership, and love means to us.

Mail your cards and optional gift cards to the church or drop them off any Sunday in October.

Sport Ball is THIS SUNDAY!

This Summer we debuted a brand-new, never before played game called Sport Ball! We had several families meet us at Bunker Hill Park (behind the church) and it has been requested that we have a Fall edition of Sport Ball because it was THAT MUCH FUN! This is an open invitation to ALL of Restoration who would like to play! Meet us at Bunker Hill at 4pm on Sunday, October 15th. Please RSVP to Ellie Holmquist or Paula Herko so we can have game supplies prepared.

    Start the Growth Track!

God has an incredible purpose for your life, and the Restoration Growth Track is designed to help you connect with that purpose. By participating in the Growth Track, you will spend a few hours diving into what it looks like to follow Jesus, discover your purpose, engage with the church, and then make a difference with your life. If you have questions, contact our Growth Track Coordinator, Christa Young.

Becoming a member at Restoration involves completing the Growth Track, a hybrid class of online self-study and one, in-person class. If you are interested in starting Growth Track and exploring membership at Restoration, please contact Christa Young for access to the online material and to register for an in-person session.

    Online Giving

There’s no time like the present to set up online giving. Online tithing is a way to remain faithful in your giving regardless of worshipping with us in-person or online. Decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully. And God will generously provide all you need. We encourage you to consider giving online so that your giving is regular and easy to manage – it’s easy to sign up HERE. You can also Text to Give by texting any dollar amount to 84321.
