Building Update
Our first two work days have been so productive and now the work will begin with our Framers, Electricians and Dry Wall teams.
This Saturday we will NOT have a structured work day. Instead, we are asking you to work on a specific project between tomorrow and next Thursday, October 27. Send an email to Paula with the project and date and time you are available to work on the project and then Paula will coordinate with you and the other member(s) of your project team and make sure we have the supplies needed.
Here are the projects to be tackled this week:
- Sand and prime wood for feature walls (the wood is being cut on Saturday, October 22) (Need 2-4 people)
- Clean and buff the brass hinges and handles on Worship Center doors (2 people)
- Mulch the playground (multiple people outside)
- Clean the street sign (2-3 people
A reminder that volunteers working inside need to be at least 13 years old and need closed toed shoes. If you have any questions about these projects, please contact Paula or Joe.
Stay Connected to the Reading
Each week the reading is scheduled for Monday-Friday and you can join in on the reading at any time! Another great option is to listen to the daily reading through the audio book. Check out the website and save it as a bookmark so you can access all of the ways you can engage with the daily reading.
Online Giving
There’s no time like the present to set up online giving. Online tithing is a way to remain faithful in your giving regardless of worshipping with us in-person or online. Decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully. And God will generously provide all you need. We encourage you to consider giving online so that your giving is regular and easy to manage – it’s easy to sign up HERE. You can also Text to Give by texting any dollar amount to 84321.

What’s Happening in Restoration Kids
Invite a friend or family to join you at our Pumpkin Party!
Bring a pumpkin to carve or decorate. Restoration will provide snacks, crafts and drinks for your family to enjoy. Please RSVP to Michele Jacobson.
Intergenerational Sunday | October 30
At Restoration, we believe it’s important for children and students to learn spiritual concepts alongside their parents at home and in age-appropriate class settings such as Restoration Kids and Restoration Student groups. We intentionally look for ways to cultivate intergenerational relationships, encourage all ages to participate in various serving roles and structure the worship set and message in such a way so as to include something that speaks to all generations. The fifth Sunday of the month is designed to be an experience where all ages can be seen, heard and welcome to participate. There will be no Restoration Kids or Restoration Students classes today. Kids and Students will instead remain in service to worship alongside their families and church community. We will have busy bags for elementary school age kids and provide nursery/preschool.
The ninja gym will be closed during the service.
Kids Christmas Program
Restoration has a long history of having a Kid’s Christmas Program in December. It is such a special time of the year for kids and families and it is a BLAST for everyone to enjoy. Pure joy, a few giggles, and the story of Jesus’ birth are shared with all who attend on this special day. Here are some details to be aware of:

Dress rehearsal Wednesday, December 14 in the evening (time TBD)

Location: IF the building project remains on time, the first rehearsal on Sunday, November 20 will be in the evening at Mercy Road location, BUT all of the other rehearsals and live performance will be at our NEW LOCATION on Sunday mornings. (Sundays November 27, December 4, December 11, December 14 (evening), December 18).

We ask that all children participating in the Christmas program commit to attending all rehearsals and the live performance. Please let me know if you have any questions!
