A Message from Pastor Rob
As we approach the end of another blessed year at Restoration Church, I would like to share a story that beautifully encapsulates who we are.
I was recently reminded again who Restoration is and what God calls us to…I was greeting families during the mid-week Restoration Kids Christmas rehearsal before their amazing production Sunday when someone stopped me and said, “I have to show you this.” I waited as he pulled out his phone, but he started talking even before it was visible. “Last year you shared a message on how God wants us to pray for neighbors and pray for opportunities with our neighbors… Well, God used that in my life and I started praying for each of them—all year. We had some interactions but it really seemed like they had zero interest in Jesus. But I kept praying. Last Sunday night, I got a text from one of the neighbors I had been praying for. It said, “Hey, do you guys go to church?” It was completely out of the blue, but it happened the same day you spoke about the joyful boldness of the shepherds telling everyone about Jesus’ birth and you asked us to consider whether we share boldly or share hesitantly. Well, I didn’t hesitate at that moment. I responded and we have been texting back and forth all week. He has definitely asked questions that I don’t have answers to but I’m in awe of how God knows just what we need. This is an incredible boost to my faith! Praise God and thank you for your faithfulness, Pastor Rob.”
This story is a testament to the power of persistent prayer and joyful boldness. Just like this beautiful example of faith in action, each of us at Restoration Church plays a crucial role in sharing hope and showing love.
As I reflect on this sacred moment, I also recognize the practical needs of our church. We have a shortfall between our budgeted and actual giving for the year. In this season of joy and giving, we invite you to partner with us in our mission. Any gift or any amount matters and makes a difference in our ministry and mission of restoring hope and transforming communities.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our church community. Together, let’s step into the new year with faith and commitment to our shared mission of being a community of people restored by Jesus, bringing hope to the world, one prayer, and one sacred moment of boldness at a time.

New Year Restorations, a new series starting in January
Welcome to a New Year and the opportunity for a fresh start! Every year, many of us set New Year’s resolutions with the best of intentions, yet often find them hard to maintain. But what if this year, we shift our focus from resolutions to restorations? Imagine allowing the Spirit of God to renew and restore the pieces and places of our lives that matter most–our minds, margins, mission, and relationships.
While there’s no magic recipe for success, there’s a path towards a life filled with fullness, wholeness, and joy. We invite you to embark on this journey with us as we explore teachings of Jesus, the master of life. Join our new sermon series, New Year Restorations, and start your year by putting the right things first. Let’s not just make resolutions this year; let’s make restorations.

Decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully. And God will generously provide all you need. We encourage you to consider giving online so that your giving is regular and easy to manage – it’s easy to sign up HERE. You can also Text to Give by texting any dollar amount to 84321.
