Easter is NEXT Sunday!

Following Jesus’s crucifixion, his followers expected what anyone expects after someone dies—that he would remain that way. But one of Jesus’s followers, John, gave an eyewitness account that summarized the main event surrounding Christianity: Jesus risen from the dead. In this final sign that John documents, he makes the case that Jesus is exactly who he claimed to be.

“Jesus performed many other signs and miracles in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” John 20:30-31

Join us for Easter at Restoration! Good Friday service will be March 29 at 7pm. Easter Services will be at 9am + 10:30am.

Who are you going to invite to Easter?

Our Lord is faithful, and through this faithfulness he has blessed Restoration with growth! One of these areas of growth is in our attendance on Sunday mornings. Attendance has been tracked throughout the year and watched closely in anticipation of moving to two services. Easter Sunday has already been announced that we will host two services, at 9am and 10:30am. This week the decision has been made that we will continue hosting two services after Easter, starting April 7 and into May. Last fall there was a dedicated effort to prepare us for this possibility and that thoughtful planning will now support us in this transition. If you are currently serving or leading a ministry team, expect to hear from staff or your ministry team leader on what this means for your role.

How exciting that our community is growing and in turn presenting this opportunity to our church! As we enter this next season as a body of Christ, we look forward to your continued partnership in restoring hope in Jesus within our community.

Stay tuned for more details during our Sunday services and in upcoming editions of News + Notes. Let’s embrace this opportunity to widen our circle, deepen our connections, and share in the joy of our growing community.

Restoration Kids!

This Sunday your children will have the opportunity to wave palm branches for Palm Sunday! As your family arrives at church, please check in your child and receive your Palm Branches. All kids will be called to the front of the stage as church begins to wave their branches and then pass them out palm branches to everyone in the worship center as we sing Hosanna!

Serve Day | May 5, 2024

Each Spring we choose a Sunday to partner with Westview Elementary and each other and worship through serving. Collectively we assist Westview with spring cleaning projects around the school, build relationships and have fun together. This year, we will also work on several spring projects around Restoration. Everyone is invited to serve! Projects will be available for preschool aged children and older.

Meet at Restoration on Sunday, May 5 at 10am for prayer and instructions. Lunch details will be shared soon.

In the coming weeks we will share a list of projects so you can bring tools that may be helpful. If you have any questions please send an email to Paula Herko.

Please sign up for Serve Day to choose which site you would prefer to work at.

Online Giving

There’s no time like the present to set up online giving. Online tithing is a way to remain faithful in your giving regardless of worshipping with us in-person or online. Decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully. And God will generously provide all you need. We encourage you to consider giving online so that your giving is regular and easy to manage – it’s easy to sign up HERE. You can also Text to Give by texting any dollar amount to 84321.
