Easter is THIS SUNDAY!
Have you RSVP’d for Easter? This is an opportunity for our church family to worship God in a beautiful and different way. A new way for us to experience more of the Easter story together. We will gather around tables, enjoy a meal together, ask questions, hear stories of restoration, sing praise and experience the power of the Resurrection…TOGETHER.
Extend an invitation to someone who needs to experience a community of people being restored by Jesus bringing hope to the world this Easter.

Please RSVP BY 5PM THURSDAY at www.restorationcov.org/easter to let us know you will be attending and to help us prepare food, resources and activities for everyone.

2022 Mission Opportunity
In our recent vision survey, many of you said you wanted more opportunities to be the hands, feet and lips of Jesus, sharing his love and truth. This summer we have the opportunity to join Joni and Friends on one of their Family Retreats June 12-17, or Aug 15-20. (There is a much greater need at the August retreat!). Walk with families affected by disability as they rest, reflect, renew and experience God’s presence and provision at the picturesque Castaway Camp in Detroit Lakes, MN.

Westview Serve Sunday
Once again this year, we will be moving our worship time to Westview Elementary located at 225 Garden View Dr, Apple Valley, MN 55124. On Sunday, May 1, meet us at Westview at 10am.
We will worship together by serving the kids, staff and families of Westview through various clean-up tasks and projects. All clean-up and tasks will be outdoors this year, so be sure to dress appropriately. More details will be provided soon.
Contact ChrystineVilhauer@restorationcov.org if you have questions.

Online Giving
There’s no time like the present to set up online giving. Online tithing is a way to remain faithful in your giving regardless of worshipping with us in-person or online. Decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully. And God will generously provide all you need. We encourage you to consider giving online so that your giving is regular and easy to manage – it’s easy to sign up HERE. You can also Text to Give by texting any dollar amount to 84321.

Pray or Receive Prayer
We’ve made it easy for you to share your prayer requests.
Send PRAY FOR ME in a text message to: (833) 482-6846.
Respond to the message and let us know how we can be praying for you
We will respond to let you know when you’ve been prayed for.

Here’s what we are learning this month in Restoration Kids!
PRESCHOOL

Have you ever called someone your BFF? Maybe just the sound of it has you thinking of someone right now. BFF— Best Friend Forever. It’s hard to be a BFF, even with the best of intentions. It’s hard for you and me, but not for Jesus. Jesus is the one friend that not only wants to be our friend forever, but He can actually keep up His end of the promise. And, He went through a lot to make it possible. That’s why, this month, we are sharing the Good News with preschoolers that Jesus wants to be my friend forever. Your friend. My friend. Their friend. Everyone’s friend—forever! The best things that go together are my friend, Jesus, and me. And nothing, not even death, can come between us and His promise, because we go together forever and ever.
“I am with you always.” Matthew 28:20, NIV

ELEMENTARY

Life can sometimes feel like a giant puzzle. All we can see is the piece we’re experiencing right now, and we’re not sure where it fits into the greater picture that is forming. We can’t always understand why some things happen to us or those we love. Yet, despite our confusion, we can have hope. God has kept promises throughout history. We can believe that God will continue to be with us through what we face now. Even in the toughest times, we can have hope because we know God is always working and can make something good out of something bad.
“In this world you will have trouble. But be encouraged! I have won the battle over the world.” John 16:32b, NIrV

Restoration Kids Play Days
Parents, are you looking to get out of your house and connect with other parents and kids during the day? This Spring, bring your kids to come play at the church with their friends while you chat with other parents. We will be meeting from 10:00 to 11:30 on the first and third Wednesdays in March through May. This is a great way to build community among our kids and each other! Our next play day will be Wednesday, April 20. A small snack will be served. Contact Chrystine@restorationcov.org with any questions.

Student Family Connect Night
All families of students 6th-12th grade are invited to Student Family Connect Night at Grand Slam in Burnsville, MN on May 14th from 7-9pm. Pricing per person will be announced soon. Please send Paula an email to let her know if your family will be attending. paulaherko@restorationcov.org
