![]() Here’s what’s happening in Worship Ministry at Restoration Perhaps you’ve noticed that we have been blessed with several different people contributing to the leadership of the musical part of our Sunday worship gatherings. We have a great appreciation for all those who have shared their gifts and talents with us in worship ministry over the last several months. Misty Harper-Anderson joined the Restoration staff in the fall of 2021 as our interim Worship Ministry Director. We have been so blessed by her! She will be stepping down from her role at the end of May so that she can more fully focus on her passion to teach and call to pastor and plant a church. Thank you, Misty, for your gifts, humor, and care for us. We love you and appreciate all you’ve given to Restoration. We have had job postings out there for many months with very few viable candidates. MANY churches in the country, in our region, and in the twin cities—in big and small churches—are experiencing a similar challenge. There are very few people responding to open ministry positions in churches. We continue to pray and trust that God will bring us the right person at the right time. In the meantime, you will still see familiar, and sometimes new faces leading. We also want to lean into this season as a time to increase our creativity and engagement as participants in our corporate praise and prayer to God. The leadership team and the staff believe strongly that we are not in this position due to some error or omission on our part. We believe that God is giving us an opportunity to explore and expand how we view and experience our worship of God together. We invite you to join us in seeing this from a perspective of opportunity, rather than lack. Please be a part of this with us in the following ways:Pray with us! We are believing God for the right person at the right time.Come open! We will be inviting you to participate in worship in some different ways (like prayer, song, silence and dinner to name a few) in the coming months. Please enter into our worship time together with a sense of openness and hope filled anticipation.Share your thoughts and ideas! The responsibility for creating a worship experience that lifts our hearts to God rests on all of us. Consider being a part of the conversation. We will be forming a group of people to share creative ideas and to pray for our worship services. If you are interested in being a part of this group or have ideas to share, please contact Leanne at: leanneesch@resorationcov.org Upcoming Events at Restoration Sunday, May 22 | In-Person + Online at 5:15pm Tuesday, May 24 | Come and See Prayer 7pm Thursday, May 26 | Middle School Girl’s Bible Study 7pm Sunday, May 29 | In-Person + Online at 5:15pm | Dinner Church Sunday Tuesday, May 31 | Come and See Prayer 7pm Sunday, June 5 | In-Person + Online at 5:15pm Tuesday, June 7 | Come and See Prayer 7pm June 9-11 | Patio Parties Sunday, June 12 | In-Person + Online at 5:15pm Tuesday, June 14 | Come and See Prayer 7pm Sunday, June 19 | In-Person + Online at 5:15pm Father’s Day Tuesday, June 21 | Come and See Prayer 7pm Sunday, June 26 | In-Person + Online at 5:15pm Join us for a Patio Party this Summer! ![]() This summer, Restoration will be hosting Patio Parties as a way to act on our value of being authentic people living in community with one another.
