Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a one-week, half-day summer camp where kids learn more about the Bible and the unconditional love of Jesus. Through music, skits, games, stories and activities, kids will experience God in a whole new way. VBS is for kids entering Kindergarten through 5th grade.
VOLUNTEER AT VBS
VBS is possible because volunteers sacrifice time and energy for children to learn about Jesus! Play games, lead a small group crew, make crafts, eat snacks, teach bible lessons, sing songs… every part of VBS is led by volunteers and we need your help!
This summer, Restoration will be hosting Patio Parties as a way to act on our value of being authentic people living in community with one another. Patio Parties are a casual way of meeting or getting to know other people at church. Hosts will be opening their homes and groups will meet to share a meal and/or drinks on the patio. We would love to have you join us!
In June, Patio Parties will be taking place Thursday, June 13 through June 15.
Hey Men! Hangout and grow together this Summer!Let’s dive into the Bible together and discover God’s purpose and design for our lives. We know everyone’s lives are busy, but getting time in the Word is so important for us. This group is designed for the busiest of folks who need flexibility, meeting once a month and working through a section of scripture at a time, giving you plenty of time to dwell on what you are learning and how it applies to you. Study: Romans: Encountering the Gospel’s Power by Dr. John Stott When: Every Third Tuesday of the Month (some dates may change due to the group’s needs, events, etc.) Start Date: Tuesday, June 18th Time: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Where: Warmer months (April-Sept): Bald Man Brewing, Eagan Colder months (Oct-Mar): Bricksworth Brewing, Burnsville How: Study through the assigned scripture within the month, come to the group, buy yourself a beer, homemade root beer and some pub food, relax and be edified Interested or have questions? Come explore the book “Keep Your Love On” by Danny Silk. Adults and children thrive in healthy relationships, yet many relationships are defined by anxiety, manipulation and control. This book focuses on Jesus as the standard of mature love and trains us how to keep our love in the face of mistakes, pain, and disappointment. A class will be provided for preschool through 5th grade. Please let Paula know if your child will participate in the class.
The class will begin July 2 and meet on Tuesday nights. Additional details coming soon!

Come Move with Restoration’s World Vision Team!
In February, World Vision visited Restoration inviting our community to join their cause in running and raising funds for clean water for those who do not have access to this essential basic need. We had 9 people say yes to World Vision’s invite which formed the Restoration World Vision team!
This team is training to participate in the Twin Cities Marathon that will take place on Sunday, October 6th – we are inviting you to move with us when we gather for our training runs! While we are training for a marathon, you may be training for a 5K, a bike race or just want to move a few minutes or miles; we would love for any and all that want to move with us regardless of distance!
Student Serve Week | June 17-21, 2024
Hey current 5th graders through high school!! This summer, we want you to give you the opportunity to serve our community in a meaningful way. Each day you will meet at Restoration, serve together and return back to Restoration to hang out and discuss our service opportunity. If you can only come to one day, that’s ok! ++ Wear clothes that can get dirty and closed toed shoes are a must
Tuesday, June 18 | 4pm-8:45pm // Feed My Starving Children (bring $15 for dinner)
++ Meet at church at 4pm. Depart at 4:20pm. Serve from 5-7pm. Dinner afterward.
Wednesday, June 19 | 1-4pm // Mary’s Place, Minneapolis
++ Read books to young children, organize summer program supplies and sho love to children in need or love and care.
Thursday, June 20 | 10am – 3pm // VBS Prop Making Day (Pizza for lunch)
++ Painting and creating VBS props and decorations. Wear appropriate clothes.
Friday, June 21 | 1-4pm // Senior Adult Connection Day
