Annual Vision Meeting Recap

Dear Restoration family and friends,

Last Sunday we held our annual vision meeting and celebrated where God has brought us, leadership team members shared where we are now, and Pastor Rob talked about where he believes God is leading us. We thanked and celebrated Amy Zaffke and Leanne Esch for their service to our leadership team, along with many ministry leaders and teammates who contribute to God’s Kingdom adventure as a part of Restoration Church. Christa Young shared the incredible story of your generosity in the past year. After the worship service, members voted in Therese Carlson and Hilary Sharp as new leadership team members, and approved the 2023-24 budget, which focuses on mission and ministry, a new staff hire and building improvements.

Pastor Rob read 1 Peter 1:3-9 and emphasized the theme of “Living Hope.” He said, “I believe the Holy Spirit is inviting us to live into the hope of Jesus more and more and share the LIVING HOPE of Jesus more naturally and more often, and with more people.” As staff and ministry leaders, we will create opportunities to invite our friends, neighbors, and the greater community to connect with us and encounter the living hope of Jesus. We will also focus on equipping and empowering you all to live into the hope of Jesus and share this living hope.

To help us to finish the fiscal year strong and fund our mission priorities, you may send a financial gift by June 30. To give now, click HERE.

Thank you for your prayers, partnership and generosity!
With much hope,

Pastor Rob

New Series THIS SUNDAY!

It may be the start of the 4th of July festivities and we can’t wait to worship with you on Sunday at 10am

Water appears at the beginning of creation and it runs throughout God’s story. A mighty flood brings devastation and renewal across the whole Earth. Moses is saved in a river and the Hebrews are saved through a sea. The shepherd boy David picks up five smooth stones from a stream before facing Goliath. Jonah runs away from God to the great sea and is saved in the sea. Jesus sends his students into a storm on the sea and calms the sea. So many of the Bible’s stories and events take place in, on or near the water. These ancient stories still offer us wisdom, revelation and life for those who are seeking. Come and dive into these stories this summer as we start a new series called Lake Life

Patio Parties in July!

Patio Parties are a fun and casual way of getting to know other people from Restoration and live out our values of authentic people and accepting community. Are you interested in being a host for this event? Hosts provide the space (deck, patio, etc.) and beverages. Guests bring an appetizer to share. Hosts can add their own flair: games, music, maybe dance competition (or maybe not). Patio Parties will take place July 20-22. RSVP to host by July 9 click HERE. RSVP to let us know you are interested in attending by clicking HERE.

Reach out to connections@restorationcov.org with questions.

Outdoor Worship + Baptism Service
August 27 at 10am | Crystal Lake Park, Burnsville, MN

Baptism is a very important spiritual milestone for a person who has come to know and love Jesus Christ. If you have felt God’s call to take this step our outdoor worship and baptism service is a great time to do that. This gives us the opportunity to celebrate with you as a church family and rejoice in this important next step.

Do you have questions about being Baptized? Pastor Rob would love to have a conversation with you! If you have hesitations about being baptized in a lake? We have options! Contact Pastor Rob to start the conversation.

Picnic details coming soon!
