New Series: Get In The Game

Jesus had thousands of spectators. People loved to sit on the sidelines to see what miracle or master teaching Jesus would perform. But Jesus had very few fully devoted students; people who let go of what they thought was important in order to love, learn and live like him. As we begin a new season, let’s look at what was most important to Jesus, and similarly, what should be most important to us.

Will you get in the game and experience the joy, hope and abundance he promises? Join us THIS SUNDAY at 10am!

It’s Tailgate Time!

On Sunday, September 8, wear your favorite jersey and get ready to launch into Fall! This year, let’s have fun with a little friendly competition: we are hosting a corn hole tournament as part of our tailgate festivities.

If you are interested in participating please fill out the form to register by September 4th and we will get you in the pool. We will have a bracket for kids/students and a bracket for adults. Partners will be randomized the day of the Tailgate Sunday. Don’t miss out on the fun! If you have questions, send an email to info@restorationcov.org.

Two Services Relaunches on September 15!

We pray your summer has been filled with faith, fun and fullness! This has certainly been true for our church community. From the beginning of June and even last Sunday, we have experienced several joyously crowded worship gatherings, especially in our kids’ classes. We are planning to return to two Sunday morning worship services at 9 AM and 10:30 AM with kids ministry happening during each gathering.

Thank you to those who served last spring with two services. Please prayerfully consider where you can serve as we join with Jesus to bring hope and restoration to the world.

Men’s Study Group | Romans

Let’s dive into the Bible together and discover God’s purpose and design for our lives. We know everyone’s lives are busy, but getting time in the Word is so important for us. This group is designed for the busiest of folks who need flexibility, meeting once a month and working through a section of scripture at a time, giving you plenty of time to dwell on what you are learning and how it applies to you.

When: Tuesday, September 17- this group meets every third Tuesday of the Month (some dates may change due to the group’s needs, events, etc.)

Time: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Study: Romans: Encountering the Gospel’s Power by Dr. John Stott

Where: Bricksworth Brewing, Burnsville

How: Study through the assigned scripture within the month, come to the group, buy yourself a beer, homemade root beer and some pub food, relax and be edified.

Team World Vision Worship Night

Join your Restoration Team World Vision on Thursday, September 19th from 7-8:30pm @ Mill City Church for Team World Vision Twin Cities’ Worship Night!

We are inviting our Restoration community to join us as we prepare for Race Day through a night of worship. We would love your support in this journey by worshiping with us, helping to remind us on WHY we are moving (some are walking the marathon while others are running) in October and also to thank God for the ways he has moved in all of our lives in this season.

Members of Restoration’s Team World Vision have been training for the marathon and fundraising throughout the summer for clean water for the many people globally who do not have access to clean water. For more information, you can visit teamworldvision.org.

Please RSVP below if you are planning to attend so we can arrange carpooling – thank you!

Visioning Mission Trip – September 23-26 – Puerto Rico

As part our vision to join with Jesus in his restoration of the world, we are sending a scouting team with Praying Pelicans Missions to discern if this organization and their vision aligns with what we believe God is inviting Restoration to join with suitable and scalable opportunities for local, regional and global service and mission experiences.

If you would like to support this mission trip as Pastor Rob and Mike Van Dyken visit church and community partners in Puerto Rico and experience first-hand what Praying Pelicans Missions look like, CLICK HERE and select PPM Mission Trip.

Pastor Rob will share more in the upcoming weeks. Please join in prayer for this trip.

Fall Retreat Interest Form

As we plan and work on details for the Fall Church-Wide Retreat, we would greatly appreciate it if everyone could complete this quick form.

Online Giving

There’s no time like the present to set up online giving. Online tithing is a way to remain faithful in your giving regardless of worshipping with us in-person or online. Decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully. And God will generously provide all you need. We encourage you to consider giving online so that your giving is regular and easy to manage – it’s easy to sign up HERE. You can also Text to Give by texting any dollar amount to 84321.

Pray or Receive Prayer

We’ve made it easy for you to share your prayer requests.

  • Send PRAY FOR ME in a text message to: (833) 482-6846.
  • Respond to the message and let us know how we can be praying for you.
  • We will respond to let you know when you’ve been prayed for.
