STUDENT MINISTRY TRANSITION

Hello Restoration Family,

I’m Daniel Morgenstern the Restoration Student Director and Small Group Coordinator. I have served on staff for just a little less than two and a half years and on December 3, I’m stepping down from staff with some sadness but determination to follow Jesus where He is leading. I want to stress that it has been a hard decision to make as I have really grown in this role and had great experiences with the graciousness and care of Rob, the staff, and the rest of the Restoration family. I have always appreciated this church as a place of love, authenticity, and growth.

Christmas Program

Invite your friends and family to join us at 5:15pm on December 19 as the kids usher us into a morning of worship that will help brighten your Christmas season. Pastor Rob shares the stage with the children of Restoration Kids as they retell the Christmas story and remind us that Christ’s presence is the real gift of the season. Parents, we will be rehearsing during class time on Sunday evenings. Please see your email or printed letter found at the Kids check-in table for more information about rehearsals. Giving Tree

It’s a Wonderful Time of the Year! Christmas is approaching quickly and while it is easy to get caught up in the excitement of celebrating Jesus birth, time with family, giving gifts and receiving gifts, it is a great time to remember those who may not have as much to look forward to. This year, Restoration will support five families from Westview Elementary and provide Christmas gifts to these families. There will be a Giving Tree in the gathering area before and after service on Sundays November 21 and 28. People may pull a tag from the Giving Tree, purchase the item, and return the gift unwrapped item by Sunday, December 12. Please consider supporting this important Christmas outreach and blessing Westview families in need.

  • Signup by email or text to Daniel by Wednesday, Nov 17 (danielmorgenstern@restorationcov.org or 952-686-8408)

  • Cost will be $15 cash per person. If cost is an issue please contact Daniel for a scholarship.

  • Mini Golf, Bumper Cars, and the Arcade are included in the price

Let’s have some fun! What else are you doing with your Friday night?

Feed The Hungry Service Day

Thanksgiving is a time to celebrate how God has taken care of us and our loved ones this last year. I know I’m excited for my family’s turkey feast and my guess is you are too. But the thing is not everyone has as much to be thankful for and we can all agree this last year has continued to be especially hard. So to follow in the footsteps of Jesus who has blessed us so generously the Student Ministry will be helping to feed the hungry.

Here’s the details:

Jesus took care of us, now it’s our turn to take care of others.
