Westview Prayer Walk
Prayer is God’s power flowing through us and makes a huge difference in the world around us. Do you believe that? Restoration Students and the Come and See prayer group do and we’re excited to show you. Together we are hosting a prayer walk to serve our city and affirm our belief in prayer. A prayer walk, if you haven’t participated in one before, is a walk dedicated to prayer with several stops for group prayer at places of symbolic value. Adults and Students are welcome; this is an awesome opportunity to as a family to showcase and affirm your belief in the supernatural and to love people around you. Meet at Westview Elementary on Sep 23 from 6-7:30pm to walk and pray through a familiar part of Apple Valley. Come expecting God to show up.

COME AND SEE HAS A NEW LOCATION!
WHAT IS COME AND SEE?? Each week it’s something different, but EVERY week we experience a movement of God together. It’s fun, fulfilling, and sometimes surprising! We seek to be with God in a variety of ways- meditating on a scripture, listening in the quiet, hearing each other’s stories, praying for a specific need, or whatever the Spirit has for us that week. All are free to participate by simply being present. You are invited, just as you are, to Come and See God in new ways with us!
Join us any Tuesday! Gathering time from 6:45-7pm; prompt start, 7:00-8:30pm.
WHERE: Vendella Coffee Haus: 1440 Duckwood Dr Suite 600, Eagan, MN 55122.

Fall is just around the corner! Be a part of something big as our church family goes on an exciting 8-week journey reading through the next Immerse book.
The stories in Joshua, Judges, Ruth and Samuel-Kings tell the story of God’s people as they invade and inhabit Canaan. God granted them freedom from Egyptian slavery and a place of rest from their wilderness wandering. Unlike the nations around them, they had no king; God was their sovereign. Without an earthly leader, though, the Israelites adopted their neighbors’ pagan ways. They disobeyed the Law of Moses and worshipped other gods. God raised up enemies who disciplined them until they cried out to God for mercy. Each time they did, God sent a deliverer – first in leaders called judges, and later in traditional kings. The greatest of these kings was David, a man after God’s own heart and Jesus’ ancestor. Jesus is the Son of David who is a sovereign for all people, including God’s nation, the Jews.
We are looking for people who are ready to lead an 8-week Immerse Group this Fall! Contact Daniel at danielmorgenstern@restorationcov.org to learn more.

Sunday, September 12 with be the launch of Restoration Kids fall classes. This means that kids will begin their new classes based on their new grades. We are so excited to return to weekly kids’ programming and connect with our community of kids and families on a more regular basis. Our check-in/check-out procedures will be very similar to our current process. |
|
You will stop at the Restoration Kids Check-In table when you enter on Sunday evenings and receive a name tag for your child and a check-out sticker for you to keep during service. At this time, infants and toddlers may be dropped off in their class or join you for songs in the worship center. Preschool and Elementary aged kids will join you in the worship center for songs after being checked in. |
|
After songs, kids will be sent to Restoration Kids classes with their special blessing song. Volunteers will be in the back with signs to help direct kids to the right location. After the worship service, you will come to the kids’ area and check your child out from their classroom. Please give your pick-up sticker to the teacher in that room so they can check your child’s tag and dismiss them. |

Kids and Student Ministries are joining forces to bring you a festive event for the whole church. We are meeting at 12156 Nicollet Ave in Burnsville from 6:30-8:00pm on Friday, October 29 to carve pumpkins, enjoy some snacks, and compete for candy prizes. Kids, students, and parents work together to carve and decorate their pumpkins in interesting and unique ways. After pumpkin carving, Students Ministry will host a mystery competition for the whole family. We will have carving tools and craft supplies on hand so just bring your friends, your creativity and, of course, a pumpkin! Have fun and leave the clean-up to us. Snacks are provided so an RSVP will help us plan. Contact ChrystineVilhauer@restorationcov.org.

Immerse | All Students
Alright parents, it’s approaching that time of year again. We are going to join with the rest of the Church in reading Immerse. Immerse is an 8 week program that enables Restoration to collectively read through the entire Bible in 6 years! The Sunday teaching, small groups, and online content will all be drawing from Immerse so make sure your Student isn’t left out.
This year we are reading Immerse Kingdoms which covers the timeframe from Joshua to Solomon. It is the story of how Israel became a nation and it is filled with powerful examples of leadership, integrity, courage, faithfulness, and obedience. It also gives a beautiful window into the faithfulness of God as Israel regularly fails its purpose as a light to the world. Please prep your Student to participate in this exciting opportunity in our Church and maybe consider jumping in a small group yourself.
